Meet the People Behind the Door

Patrick has over 23 years of experience in the fields of video gaming, VR, AR and related technology. He's worked on top teams at big firms including Microsoft, Meta and Vulcan, as well as startups including Camouflaj, the company behind Iron Man VR, and Presence Labs which had a successful music VR App on the Gear VR. Patrick has shipped dozens of well-known video games and multiple gaming hardware projects including Xbox, Kinect and Hololens. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two daughters; he’s also a dual American and Italian citizen.

Founder

Alissa has been producing games for 20+ years. She’s led the development of online, mobile, PC, console, and now VR games. Alissa’s background in music, theater, and performing arts is leveraged in choreography and creative direction. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their two dogs, Cosmo and Rosie, who regularly attend company meetings.

Alissa Brodsky

Production Director

Colin has been working as an indie gamedev for over six years; focused on technical animation, keyframe animation, mocap cleanup, rigging, Blender-Unity pipeline, and light game logic programming. He holds down our European branch.

Colin Muller

Tech Animator

Sabin is a software engineer with 10+ years of experience, including time at Microsoft, with a focus on systems architecture and feature development across the game. He has published research in computational geometry and specializes in solving complex procedural problems, as well as graphics optimization and shader development. Outside of game development, he enjoys taking dance classes, creates code-driven art installations and organizes “Art + Code Monthly” meetups. Sabin is originally from Nepal, currently living in Seattle, and is human to a mildly spicy kitty named Zincy.

CTO

Dongho is a graduate of DigiPen Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's in Computer Science. Specializing in boundary and UI technology, he is in charge of every single interactable button you see in the game. Dongho is from South Korea, currently living in Seattle with a small white dog named Rice Cake.

Dongho Lee

Software Engineer

Alice is a design generalist working primarily in technical art and data visualization. She has previously worked with Nationwide Children's Hospital in a similar role and as a data visualization specialist at the Center for Complex Network Research, Northeastern University. On this project she's responsible for lighting, environment art, procedural modeling pipelines and optimization.

Alice Grishchenko

Tech Artist

She works at the intersection of marketing and creative direction, with a background in VR startups, UX, and the arts. At Dark Arts, she’s developed brand messaging, partnerships, and operations to engage audiences. She has led creative direction and marketing strategy across campaigns, including influencer outreach, social, PR, and a successful Kickstarter. Her experience spans print, digital, and experiential work, including conference activations and integrated wayfinding systems. As an avid social dancer in Latin, swing, and blues, she brings a collaborative, responsive approach to marketing and creative direction.

Anna Czoski

Senior Creative & Marketing Lead

Mahin is a graduate of DigiPen Institute of Technology with a degree in Computer Science. As a Game Developer, his focus is primarily on systems and developing the process for creating choreography for Rhythm Challenge. He also contributes creatively to the routines. Mahin is originally from Malaysia, currently living in Seattle.

Mahin Gobin

Software Engineer

Yurii is a game UI/UX designer with over 8 years of experience creating immersive, user-centric interfaces across PC, mobile, VR, and AR. He specializes in wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design, with a strong foundation in motion, 3D, and front-end development. His background spans game UI with hundreds of shipped screens, promotional design for major brands, and design leadership for a Top 200 YouTube channel. At Dark Arts he designs the UI/UX for Trip the Light and shapes the game's promotional and brand materials. Originally from Odesa, Ukraine, he's now based in the Seattle area.

Yurii Kravchenko

Senior UI/UX Designer

Kira is a graduate of DigiPen Institute of Technology with a BFA in Digital Art and Animation. Specializing in animation, she works on anything from mocap cleanup and VO to creating choreography for Rhythm Challenge. In her free time, she enjoys beachcombing for sea glass and agates as the weather permits in the PNW.

With 15 years of Influencer experience on both sides of the camera Dom focuses on novel community centric strategies to not just build a brand up but develop the community that will grow with the projects he is a part of. A life long artist Dominique has traveled with acts on stages and screens coast to coast as a performer, technician and producer. 20+ years I.A.T.S.E. member. Founder of the longest running independent PAX West Afterparty: POROPALOOZA
